Beige Doesn't Have to Mean Boring! When we think about beige, we often think dull, plain and cheap. But it just isn't so! Beige is not just one blah tone used as a default choice for cheaply built apartments. It's a variety of soft, subtle shades that can add dimension and beauty. The trick to using beige to make a sophisticated design statement is to really think about the variations of beige you want to use - including cream, tan, ivory, khaki, and tones that are tinted with gray, yellow or pink. The shade of beige you select can change the feeling of a room and even effect the perception of light. Beige can look fabulous in almost any type of architecture and interior design, and layering several shades of beige adds calmness and sophistication. Just about every variation of beige looks great with crisp white. And you can accessorize beige with red, pink, teal, aqua blue, dark brown or black. When you're looking for a unique, new color, think shades of beige.

Make a Break from the Past with a Modern Look
It's a Case of Form Following Function Modern sounds like a new decorating style, but it's actually quite old. It began in the late 1800's and has evolved over time, always with an emphasis on simplicity and function. Think clean, straight lines; natural surfaces and neutral colors; very little clutter and no frills or ornate, heavy designs. Modern materials include chrome and nickel, leather and suede, linen and wood, glass and natural light. A room decorated in a modern style doesn't seem cold, like a contemporary style may feel. It's warm because of the use of natural, earthy tones and because comfort and practicality are always a priority. It's also calming because there's not too much fussiness or adornment. If you like simple spaces, with clean lines and little clutter, a modern look is probably for you. We can help!

"This was my second time using Georgia Blinds and Interiors for our home. I loved working with Pam Cole and thought I would stick with a good thing! We had purchased wood shutters and blinds from Pam a few years ago and remembered that Georgia Blinds and Interiors also did upholstery. We recently finished remodeling our kitchen and wanted to warm up the room with a window treatment and coordinating pillows for our banquet seating. I love working with Pam! She not only has great ideas and taste, but she really understood what I wanted and guided me to the final result. With four kids at home (and then some with their friends) our kitchen is the center of our house and now it really feels like a home. I have and will continue to refer Pam Cole and her team at Georgia Blinds and Interiors to anyone I know!" - Shae Geeslin in Atlanta, Georgia "Lauren and I really appreciate the time spent with you discussing shutters and blinds for our home. Your professionalism and honesty is very comforting and we look forward to working with your store." - James L., Roswell GA
"Thank you so much. I am extremely happy with my blinds!" - Mike G.
