Inclement Weather Reminders
For delays and closures: Delone Catholic parents are notified via One-Call of school delays and closures. This information, along with early dismissal information, is posted on the website, Facebook, and Twitter as soon as possible. You may also call the school at 717-637-5969 and the recording will notify you of a delay or closure. WGAL is notified immediately upon the decision to delay or close. In addition to T.V. closures and delays are posted on their website

For early dismissals: Early dismissals are posted immediately  on the website, Facebook, and Twitter  as we receive the calls from each school district . WGAL also posts school district dismissals on their  website

Remember: Phone calls from parents will not be accepted for dismissal requests. The phone lines are needed to receive information from the school districts. We also encourage students to call parents from the office to inform them of the different drop off schedule for bus transportation so that an adult may be available for the transport from the bus stop to home.

Please be alert to those weather forecasts for incoming snow possibilities. If you wish your student to be dismissed at a different time, you must send in a note with your student for each dismissal. No emails and no phone calls will be accepted. Notes must be turned in before homeroom, on the day they are to be applied. You may not submit one note for the duration of the school year. A note must be delivered on each separate occasion.

All eighth graders at Annunciation BVM School, Immaculate Conception BVM School, Sacred Heart of Jesus School, St. Francis Xavier Catholic School and St. Joseph School will take the test in their schools.

Any eighth grader who attends a Catholic school outside the deanery, a public school, home school or other school needs to make arrangements to take the test on either Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017 or Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017 at Delone Catholic High School. Testing will be conducted from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. each day. There is no cost to take the exam. but you MUST register.

The test covers English, science and math. Students need to bring two #2 pencils, a pen and a lunch. To register for the test, please  click here. For more information please contact Mrs. Williams

Notre Dame Vision: Calling All High School Students
Each summer, the University of Notre Dame invites high school students
from across the country to spend a week on Notre Dame's campus. Participants spend Monday through Friday exploring how God calls us in our lives and how we might respond.

During your week at Notre Dame, you will share in dynamic large group experiences, interactive small group time, profound liturgies, and excellent music. Notre Dame, Saint Mary's, and Holy Cross students lead this program, and participants get to experience student life by eating in the dining halls, staying in the dorms, and enjoying the beautiful campus.
For more information, please contact Katie Franz.
See Mrs. Phenicie for registration information.
