Noreen Neitz Run at the Rock and Sufficiently Radical Walk
The Noreen Neitz Run at the Rock and Sufficiently Radical Walk will take place on Saturday, Dec. 17 and feature a 5K, 1 mile walk, and new this year - a 10k!
Noreen was a major part of every aspect of everything that happened at St. Francis Xavier Catholic School. Her children attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic School, Delone Catholic, and now are in College or entering the work force. Noreen Neitz, mother, wife, daughter, friend, mentor, youth leader & Christian, was called to be with our Heavenly Father on July 10, 2013 after a tremendous fight with cancer. As was Noreen's way, even though she is not physically with us, she continues to encourage service to others. In the spirit of service, a scholarship fund has been established in Noreen's name for those 6th, 7th and 8th grade students at St. Francis Xavier Catholic School who show Christian leadership as active members of the Youth Group and give of their time in service to others. Proceeds will be shared equally between the scholarship fund and St. Francis Xavier Catholic School.
Exciting News! We are adding a 10K to our event. Students, ages 14 and under, who register by the early deadline of
Dec 2 for the 5K will be $15 and for the 10K $25. After
Dec 2 all registration fees will be the adult late fee price.
