Flood Update
We have had much good news in the aftermath of our flood (Saturday night). The quick action of the parishioners present, as well as the remediation crew that came that night has prevented any serious damage. We will incur some cleaning costs. The insurance company has said that our own costs will likely not exceed $500. That is simply amazing! Many thanks to all who have helped so far and for everyone's patience with our continued recovery. 
Scottish Dance for the Parish Festival
All the girls of St. Anne Church are invited to learn and perform two Scottish dances at the Celtic Fest. Rehearsals will be after church on Sunday, April 30 and May 7, and on the morning of the Festival.

The girls will wear white dresses and traditional Scottish tartan scarves. We have scarves that we will loan them. We also have three adult-sized white skirts that someone could wear with a white shirt.

Picnic at Frozen Head
James and Anna Freeman invite you to join them for a hike and picnic at Frozen Head State Park next Saturday.  The Emory Gap Trail has 2 playgrounds and a waterfall within the first half mile of the trail. Bring a picnic lunch and clothes for splashing in the water. The park is about a 35 minute drive from Oak Ridge. For those who want to caravan, we can meet in the Church parking lot and leave at 10 am.
