The Weekly Word
Collect for the Second
Sunday of Advent
Merciful God, who sent your messengerst the prophets to preach repentance and prepare the way for our salvation: Give us grace to heed their warnings and forsake our sins, that we may greet with joy the coming of Jesus Christ our Redeemer; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen

Prayer During this Time of Transition
During last weeks Prayers of the People you may have noticed that I slipped in an extra prayer. As we go through this time of transition, we intentionally keep God at the center. He has desires for St. Francis. We learn those desires through praying and listening. Listening to him and to each other with open and grateful hearts. I have made this prayer part of my daily prayers and I hope that you will join me. I will continue to slip it into to the Prayers of People each Sunday. Grace and Peace, Deacon Tamara

Hear us, O Lord, as we come to you for guidance. Give us patience during this time of transition at St. Francis. Help us to be responsive to the needs of each other and to follow where you lead us. May St. Francis become new not only through its leadership, but also through the unity of its members. Amen.
