The Weekly Word
It is that time of year when we expect things to "wind down." The school year ends, the weather is turning warmer, and many folks prepare for summer vacations. Regardless of the time of year, the Holy Spirit remains with us, helping us to lean away from the tendency to wind down when it comes to seeking to obtain God's promises. It's through our love for God that we have any chance of obtaining those promises. In loving God, we are strengthened and directed toward loving others. And as we know, those two things - loving God and loving others - comprise what Jesus refers to as the first and second greatest commandments. To live with these two things at the forefront of our daily lives is to live in the highest obedience to God.

Thank You
Dear St. Francis Congregation,
St. Francis Episcopal School staff and I would like to send you all a heartfelt THANK YOU for everything you have done and continue to do for our wonderful school.  We truly appreciate the hard work you put into Episcopal School Sunday each and every year.  It means the world to the staff and myself that you take the time to recognize and thank us for all we do to carry on the wonderful legacy of our school since its origins in 1971.  St. Francis Episcopal School is a treasure to our community, a mission that we strive to uphold each and every day and a sanctuary in the world of education where we still hold strong to the importance of a traditional, loving foundation in the early years of learning.  Thank you for supporting us, coming to our aid when needed and trusting us to maintain the outstanding reputation St. Francis has and will continue to have in the future.  We cannot begin to express enough how your words of encouragement and love fill our hearts with joy!
Many blessings, Wendy Thibeault
Director of St. Francis Episcopal School

Thank You
Thanks to all who helped with Episcopal School Sunday and the Parish Picnic!  From planning the event, to setting up out on the school deck, to grilling the hot dogs and hamburgers, to manning the bake sale table and to cleaning up, you all worked like an army to make this a special day and celebration.  I am grateful to each one of you.  It is through you all that I see the work of Christian Fellowship and Love.
