Quote of the Week. . .

Owners of dogs will have noticed that, if you provide them with food and water and shelter and affection, they will think you are god. Whereas owners of cats are compelled to realize that, if you provide them with food and water and shelter and affection, they draw the conclusion that they are gods.

Link of the Week
It's not always that a "State of the School" event evokes inspiration of this type, but the address by senior Sonali Burns at the recent King State of the School event is worth seeing.  She offers to the adults words that she gave to her peers.  Words we all can benefit from.  The world looks much better with young people like Sonali.
She begins at 1:25 in the video. . .

For Further Reflection. . .

A thought provoking interview with Arnold Eisen regarding the great rabbi of the past century, Abraham Joshua Heschel.  Well worth the listen.
