St. Francis Weekly                          January 22 - 29
Notice the new look?  This is the work of the design team, The Visual Brand, with whom we worked in the development of the new website.  I hope that you like the look, and please keep passing on tidbits to make it better.
Blessings!

Quote of the Week:
Start by doing what's necessary, then what's possible,
and suddenly you are doing the impossible.
- St. Francis of Assisi

Thank you to all who have pledged for our ministry in 2017.  If you haven't pledged yet, please consider a pledge and email Audrey Roco at  audwee@gmail.com
Food for Thought. . .
With the annual meeting this Sunday, January 22, and with the completion of the 2016 Annual Report, I do not have much to write about this week.  What I do want to say is that I am continually amazed at the generosity, creativity, commitment, love, grace, mercy, sense of justice, hope, insight, strength, grit, beauty, sense of humor, humility, and gratitude that meets me at every turn by working with and serving the members of St. Francis.  Thank you for your part in our life together.  We truly are blessed by you. Please take a look at the Annual Report to see what our life together looked like in the past year.  I give thanks to God for you all.  Blessings!!

There was a lot happening in the past year!!

For Further Reflection. . .
At this time, an interesting interview with David Brooks on,
of all things, Sin and Beauty .  I find Brooks an interesting
figure, and his search for connection, meaning,
and the place of religion in it all is a benefit to us all.
