The Parish School of Religion
The February issue of Partners in Faith is now available. As our children grow and venture away from our protective eyes at school, in sports, extracurricular activities, or playdates, we want simple but effective strategies to help keep them safe. The main article on page two gives details.  Click HERE to access the publication. The Office of Religious Education is honored to partner with parents to help children grow in their Catholic faith.  For information about Faith Formation and Sacraments at St John's Parish School of Religion click HERE.
Adult Faith Formation
The better we understand Jesus, the better we understand ourselves. But who was Jesus, this itinerant preacher whom many called the Messiah?
In Priest, Prophet, King, you'll discover Jesus as the Anointed One-the ultimate priest, prophet, and king foreshadowed throughout the Hebrew Scriptures. Using biblical insights and engaging stories, Bishop Barron affirms that we see Jesus most clearly through the lens of the Old Testament.
Through this deeply biblical program, you will better understand Jesus, become more familiar with Scripture, and realize your own priestly, prophetic, and
kingly mission, received when you are baptized "into Christ."
It's that time of year again.
We will start this year's build in late February.
We are speaking at the Masses February 25-26, along with our annual signing of the 2x4's and volunteer sign-up.
If you are on our current volunteer list, no need to sign up again.
If you've had a change in contact information,  or have questions,
please contact Irene Garoppo, , (256)830-5989.

Donations Needed!
The Knit One Pray Too Ministry is in need of yarn donations. If you are willing and able to donate there are two requests. Worsted weight and bulky weight yarns are preferred due to ease of use for larger projects like afghans. 100% acrylic yarns are preferred since they are easy to wash, usually not itchy, and are free of allergens. Thank you for supporting our ministry. Items made by the Knit One Pray Too Ministry are available to bring comfort and love to anyone fighting an illness or struggling with a need.
