Dear (Contact First Name),

Thank you to everyone who completed the WASC Survey.  These survey results will provide very helpful information in our accreditation process. We appreciate your feedback.

Hot Lunch Announcement:

We will be switching back to the ChoiceLunch hot lunch program beginning Monday, November 2nd. ChoiceLunch has already set up our account for ordering lunches.  You can log on and visit  choicelunch.com, click sign up and enter the school code leander.  Lunches are available to order for November, December and January.  We will finish out all existing orders through October with LunchMaster. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause as we transition.

Planning Ahead:
Happy October!  As we are getting close to Halloween, please plan ahead if you would like to volunteer in the classroom or join us for Halloween activities.  To enter the classrooms, every adult must complete the safe environment training and submit a certificate of completion and $8.00 payment to the school office.  To complete this important safety training, please log onto shieldthevulnerable.org and complete the training module.

Costumes:
Please choose appropriate costumes for school. Costumes may not include blood, gore or weapons.  Students should not wear costumes that are too revealing or too short.  Please be aware that it is a regular school day in the morning, and students should wear rubber soled shoes as they do for free dress days.  No high heels or plastic princess play shoes.

Community Discount Cards:
The Community Discount Card sale has ended. The total payment
of $100 was due on September 28th.  All payments are now past due.  Please submit your payments promptly.

Sweatshirt Orders:
Sweatshirt orders are expected to be delivered on October 20th.  We should be distributing them by the end of next week.
