Choir News
This summer, our Choirmaster, Rees Roberts, will be offering a "Choral Catechumen." This class will teach the fundamentals of reading music, and hopefully some fun will be had along the way. This class is open to all, of any level. No prerequisites required! Class will begin Wednesday, June 21, at 6:30pm, and run through August 9. Please let the choirmaster know if you're interested, so that he can have a good head-count.

Theatre Camp at the Cathedral
This year, Trinity Episcopal Cathedral's Community Theatre Outreach for children will present Disney's "The Jungle Book KIDS." The free, week-long camp, Monday, July 31 - Friday, August 4, welcomes all children who have completed the 3rd grade through the 7th grade, but will be limited to the first 25 who apply. Campers will be fed lunch each day. Activities will include rehearsing, singing, playing theatre games, making costumes, learning about staging and theatre blocking from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. On Friday, the children will stay from 10:00 a.m. through the performance at 5:30 p.m. and will be fed both lunch and supper. Camp begins at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 31, culminating with the public performance at 5:30 p.m. on August 4.

Friendship Camp 2017: Let's Party!

VET'S DINNER
Our next Vet's Dinner will be Thursday, June 15 at 6 pm. We will serve meat loaf and all the fixins' to the vets from St. Francis House. Side dishes and desserts are needed. Please check the sign up board in the narthex for opportunities to help out. Contact Dan Dennis if you have any questions about how to help with the dinner.

A/C in the Parish Hall
If you have an event in the Parish Hall, feel free to adjust the temperature to your liking. But, please(!), be sure to push "Run Schedule" on the thermostats before you leave to return the A/C to its regular schedule. Thank you for your help in keeping St. Luke's summer electric bills low!

20/30-Somethings Tacos & Trivia Night
All 20/30-somethings (& friends!) are invited to a fun night of Tacos & Trivia on Saturday, June 24! Bring your favorite taco filling to the Parish Hall at 6pm; shells & toppings will be provided. Childcare will be available in the nursery. Come enjoy food, fun, and fellowship while testing your random info knowledge!

Farm Camp at Camp Mitchell
Tilling the earth to grow food is a central act throughout the Bible. This camp, held July 30-Aug. 4, will examine how God challenges us to better know creation through getting our hands dirty in the soil. Learn more at campmitchell.org.

Outreach
HOMELESS SHELTERS MINISTRY: The homeless shelters continue to need our donations. We are presently serving St Francis House, Dorcus House, Jericho Way and RiverCity Ministries. Items needed are detergent and bleach, paper towels and toilet paper, personal care items(bath soap, shampoo, toothbrushes and toothpaste, diapers sizes 4,5,6 and beanies weenies and Vienna sausages. With the coming of warmer weather bottled water would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions or would like to help with deliveries contact Betty Seymour, Tommie Williams, George or M'Liss Collins, Mary Newton, Sheryl Stewart, Mary Ann Hodge or Don Wood.
PARK HILL CHRISTIAN FOOD PANTRY: We are still taking your non-perishable items for their food pantry from the box in the Narthex.
