Christmas is coming!

Schedule for Sunday
A reminder that there will be only one (1) worship service in the morning on Sunday at 9:30 a.m., followed by the Greening of the Sanctuary. We hope you will come!  Christmas Eve services will take place this Sunday at 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. (with special music beginning at 9:30 p.m.).

Christmas Hospitality
Please join in offering hospitality to the many first time worshippers and our own members who will be attending worship services on Christmas Eve.  Already plated cookies, bars, cheese, crackers, etc. would be greatly enjoyed by all!  Coffee, tea, and cocoa will be available.  And, if you are willing to come a bit early to help with the preparations that would also be welcome.  Please contact Pastor Debra at rector@stmarksevanston.org if you are willing to help with hospitality that night!  Thank you all!

Highlights from Inside this Edition of The eLion

Midweek Lunch: Come and Join Us! Each week, volunteers from St. Mark's and St. Matthew's work together to prepare and serve meals for our neighbors who struggle with hunger and homelessness.  On Tuesdays from 6:00-6:30 p.m. volunteers prepare sandwiches.  On Wednesdays, volunteers gather in Cunningham Hall from 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. to set out food and beverages, serve the meal and talk with our guests.  Contact John Lucadamo at lucadamj@gmail.com or 847-436-1701 for more information.
