Rector Search: Know a great candidate?
The Search Committee is excited to be in the next stage of the discernment process. Our next committee meeting is March 30th. We will focus on the process we will be using after we receive the candidates information once the posting period has closed. We have been asked by some of our parish members whoat should they do if they know of a great candidate. If you do, please direct them to the diocesan website (www.dionc.org) where they can learn more about St. Martin's and express their interest in the position. Your continued prayers are asked as your committee continues in this discernment process.

- Tami Fossum, Search Committee Chair

BWB Invitation
For those who have always shied away from Bible Study because of concern that either you don't know enough, or you know all that stuff already, we have a group for you. The Bible Workbench (BWB) meets at St. Martin's on Fridays at noon in the Meeting Room upstairs. The BWB approach is based on discovering the story in a Bible text and working on bringing it to life using open questions to open up the text, invite participants to make connections to the world around them, and to explore their own inner lives and faith. There is no teacher or expert telling the group what the text means; we meet as a circle of equals. If you would like to give it a try, just show up. If you have questions, please contact Angie Forde at 704-340-4543 or email aforde@stmartins-charlotte.org

The Gospel Group The group interested in gathering, praying, talking, reflecting, and discussing how the gospel impacts our life met this past week after church. We are meeting each Sunday in the parlor after the 10:30 service. Anyone interested is invited to join us this Sunday. For more information, contact Angie Forde 704-340-4543, angief2754@aol.com or Fran Huske 704-362-4107, fph@bellsouth.net.

Thank You to all the St Martin's expert DIYers who repair and install countless appliances around the Parish House. You save us from having to spend many $$ from our funds, and we are grateful indeed. We have just one favor to ask of you - please coordinate your work with our Parish Administrator. This helps us to schedule electricians, plumbers, City contractors and all those other folk who from time to time need to shut off the water, switch off the electricity, re-route the pipes, etc. which may be in direct conflict with the completion of your particular task. All it takes is a phone call to the church office, or an email to staff@stmartins-charlotte.org Thanks again for all you do.

Calendar Update

If you have added something to the church calendar prior to January 2014 for an event taking place anytime post-January 2014, please contact the office to verify that it is still on the calendar.  Thank you.
