Children's Ministries
THIS SUNDAY is the LAST DAY for GODLY PLAY this spring. We will resume Godly Play again in September.

CHILDREN'S CHAPEL, at 9:00, will continue through the end of June, then take a break for 6 weeks. It will resume again in the middle of August - around the time school starts up again.

We are making some exciting changes in spaces for our children's ministry - stay tuned for updates, calls for help cleaning and moving this summer, and an Open House of the new spaces in August.

Camp Stoney
There is still time to register for Camp Stoney this summer! Exciting week-long camps focus on themes from Harry Potter, Narnia, and Medieval fun to Adventure camp and Summer Fun. There are camps for 3rd - 12th graders, as well as a camp week for young adults and and FAMILY CAMP weekend. See http://bishopsridge.weebly.com/camp-stoney.html for more information or to register; or talk to Pastor Kristin with questions or for scholarship information.

Celebration of New Ministries
A Celebration of New Ministries for Rev. Canon Daniel Gutierrez and Rev. Chuck Jones will be held on  Sunday, June 5.
Bishop-Elect Gutierrez will preach at all morning services, and the newly ordained Chuck Jones will serve as deacon. We will have a celebration (with cake!) for Daniel and Chuck between the 9:00 and 11:15 services.
We have purchased a beautiful blank book for Fr. Daniel, and will be inviting congregation members to share their memories, good wishes, and blessings in that book, to present to Daniel on the 5th. It will be in the church entry way each week from now through the 5th, or you can come in to the church office and talk to Kathryn if you would like to write in the book.
Navajoland Mission Trip
June 1 - 6, Fort Defiance, AZ
Families are invited to join the group from St Michael's in a trip to the  Navajo congregation of Good Shepherd Mission. We will help with corn  planting and building a patio for the mission coffee shop; the congregation  is hosting numerous cultural experiences for us. Cost is $30 per night per  person, and we will be preparing our own food.
Casa San Miguel
The Roadrunner Food Bank has been very good to us, but we do need canned fruit.  For some reason, we just can't get it at Roadrunner.  Also, the brown shopping bags are always appreciated.  We generally go through 50 to 70 on a normal Tuesday.
Bread for the World
Bread for the World is writing letters to address the needs of hungry and malnourished women and children around the globe. The Offering of Letters campaign this year, Survive and Thrive, addresses the Global Food Security Act, reforming food aid to help increase the productivity of smallholder farmers in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Please come sign a letter on May 22 or May 29 to let our Congressional lawmakers know this is an important priority in this year's federal budget.
If you would like to help run the table on May 22 or May 29, please contact Terese Bridges at [email protected]
Local Immigration Awareness Program
May 27-29. We will lead a delegation to help participants learn more about the lived experience of immigrants in our community, offering the opportunity to meet with several immigrant families who will share some of the struggles they have faced in their journey to the US and life here. We will hear from agencies that support immigrants including health care providers, community organizers, attorneys, and educators. The $100 cost of the delegation includes three meals and local transportation. Some scholarship support available. Please RSVP by May 15 to Kathleen at [email protected] or call the Faith Coalition at 217-5846.
