St. Patrick's Day Festivities Abound in Kamm's Corners on March 17, Before and After the Parade

Although 12% of Cuyahoga County residents are of Irish descent, nearly everyone celebrates the wearing of the green on St. Patrick's Day. The 149th edition of the parade steps off downtown at 1:04 p.m. March 17, at Superior Avenue and East 18th Street. It travels west on Superior to Jesse Owens Way (East Roadway) and then heads northwest on East Roadway for one block, turning east on Rockwell Avenue. It ends at the intersection of Rockwell and East Third Street roughly two hours later.

From early morning Irish breakfasts to live bands performing into the night, Kamm's Corners is THE place to celebrate before and after the parade. Remember to "go green" in more ways than one by leaving your car at home. Take public transit or walk to Kamm's Corners' pubs and restaurants. If you must drive, please park in the municipal parking lot behind Walgreens or specially designated areas. Cars will be towed from Kamms Plaza by Marc's if their drivers are not shopping at Marc's. Stay safe!

Click here for a listing of festivities in the heart of Kamm's Corners, from page 11 of the most recent issue of Kamm's Corners Magazine. Click here for a newly added option. Check out this fun video by local man, Carter Hall. It's an original Irish song with Irish names, available on Facebook, here.
