 VBS 2017: A MIGHTY FORTRESS!

This year we have over 200 children joining us for VBS!
The children are learning how our MIGHTY God broke down the walls of Jericho and how we can never build a tower strong enough out of our own good works. God is MIGHTY...the VICTORY is won! They are enjoying crafts, games and of course, snacks! The c hildren will be sharing fun and learning with the congregation on Sunday, June 18th, 9:30 service.
Pastor Wendorf's Weekly Devotional
God so loved the world that He gave His only Son. -John 3:16

The role of the father's love in our lives is essential. A chaplain had an idea to supply Mother's Day cards to the inmates in a prison so they could send cards to their mothers. In a matter of hours every card was gone. When Father's Day came around, he did the same thing.  This time very few cards were requested.  Wow! Each of us has a father and hopefully one that loves or loved you. Remember you are also the child of the heavenly Father. He put His love for you in action by sending to you the ultimate gift of His Son, Jesus, to die for you. Sadly the men in prison apparently did not have a father to love them. Today we rejoice in knowing that all of us have heavenly Father who loves us and we find comfort in knowing the "Father's Love."

You are welcome to contact Pastor Wendorf to share your thoughts regarding his weekly devotions. pastor.wendorf@splgrafton.org
