Dear St. Raphael School Families and Friends,

Our second fundraiser of the year, the Annual School Auction, is next Saturday, February 25th! Sometimes I am asked, "Why do we need to do fundraising?" The graph below will answer this question and will also give you deeper insight on the importance of our three major fundraisers. We strive to keep tuition affordable for anyone that would like to give the gift of a Catholic education to their children, as well as continue our extra programs that make St. Raphael School such a special place.

Registration for the 2017-2018 school year is on March 15th. The Catholic Education Foundation Tuition Assistance applications are now available. You can download the forms from the e-newsletter or pick up a copy in the office. Applications are due no later than March 10th. Any late applications will not be accepted.  Download the CEF application here

Valentine Prayer
I said a Valentine prayer for you and asked the Lord above to fill your heart and bless your soul with the precious gift of love. I asked Him for sincere love. The kind that's meant to stay just like the generous love you give to those you touch each day. I prayed for love from family and from every cherished friend then I asked the Lord to give you His love that knows no end.

By Persevering in Prayer, we share in Christ's life
In the Gospel reading this weekend, Jesus tells his disciples to not become weary in prayer. He uses a parable of a widow who repeatedly approaches a judge asking to receive a just decision from him. Her persistence is what gets the judge to give her the just verdict.

St. Joseph Street

As per the handbook, please do not use St. Joseph Street for drop off and pick up.  This is for
student safety! A police officer issued warnings for people that were double parked.  Tickets for this are $200.  There is a special education bus that needs to access St. Joseph Street to pick up a child.  When cars are double parked, the bus is not able to pass.  There have been numerous complaints from our neighbors.
