Annual Catholic Appeal
Your gift to the Annual Catholic Appeal is still needed!
Asante Sana! to all who have responded to the needs of our Church in Western Washington through the 2017 Annual Catholic Appeal. One person or parish could not possibly accomplish all that needs to be done for over 60 ministries and services of the Annual Catholic Appeal.

We are still $32,561 from our goal.  We need your help  to reach our our goal of $95,344 !  Anything over that goal comes back to our parish as a rebate to use as needed.

Hey y'all (I'm feeling my southern roots...),

Our last Pivotal Players event is on Thursday, July 20th, at 7pm in Egan Hall.  The video is about St. Catherine of Siena, and Kristin Kent will lead the discussion afterwards.  You know it's going to be good :-)

Coincidentally, and you know what they say about God and coincidences, I got an emailed prayer nugget from Mike Alvine, by Catherine of Siena.

Precious Blood,
Ocean of Divine Mercy:
Flow upon us.
Precious Blood,
Most pure Offering:
Procure us every Grace!
Precious Blood,
Hope and Refuge of sinners:
Atone for us!
Precious Blood,
Delight of holy souls:
Draw us! Amen.
{Thanks, Mike.}

If you have a prayer nugget you'd like to share with the parish, email Bill Marty, bill@takenroad.com .  Thanks!
Archdiocese Planning Study
The Archdiocese of Seattle recently concluded a planning study to test the feasibility of a major archdiocesan-wide fundraising effort. All parishioners were invited to provide their opinions and level of support for specific needs affecting the archdiocese's long-term strategic vision.

The planning study tested strengthening the pension and medical plans for archdiocesan priests, providing retirement support to women religious communities serving in the archdiocese, and a component for parishes to raise funds for their specific, local needs.

The results of the study can be found in this week's bulletin and on the archdiocese's webpage at seattlearchdiocese.org. Thank you to all who participated in this landmark study for the future of the Archdiocese of Seattle.
