Summer Fun from the editor:
A Photo Scavenger Hunt

A summer series for This Week at St John's subscribers. Each week we'll post a photo or two of interesting items/features that can be found in the building. Do you recognise them? Do you know where to find them?

Challenge your friends, help the newcomers, or feel free to share a story about one of these St John's "artifacts."

For those who like to keep score you can always take your own photos of the found items and track how many you've found by summer's end.

enjoy!

we'll start with these "easy ones" the first week :-)

Find Your Slow Summer

Like all of life, summer is meant to be savoured. When the weather warms up and the bird song floats down from the treetops, it’s time to change the pace. This summer, pick up this booklet from the table at the church entrance and try these 50 slow summer ideas as a guide to help you soak into the season.

Sink in, go slow, and savour every moment!

THE VOYAGE OF THE PEW

Do you recall the giant pew that was in the corridor outside the Church Office?  After many months of discussion well.... it finally moved!  It is now up in the hallway near the classrooms with a fabulous view of the bulletin board.

It took a special day when we had 4 strong guys on site to move it.

The only way from point A to point B was to take it outside, circumnavigate the building, stylishly parade it along Elgin Street and then, in through the Hall.

Great Job lads!!
