Recent Activity:
Potosi's Silver broker her maiden in thrilling and decisive fashion at Belmont Park, winning by an impressive 6 1/4 lengths! With Johnny Velazquez up, she was guided through traffic after the final turn and drew away from the field under a hand ride. She galloped out beautifully and we look forward to her next start which is undetermined at this time but please check our website for updates

Shanghai Bobby
Retiring Racing as a Winner:
The much anticipated return of Shanghai Bobby did
not disappoint.  After breaking sharply from the gate with Johnny Velazquez up, Bobby gutted out a gritty first place finish in the Aljamin Stakes at Belmont Park. Although he galloped out well, a suspensory ligament injury was later discovered and it was decided that it
was in Bobby's best interests to retire from racing. He
will stand at Coolmore America's Ashford Stud in Kentucky. Please click here to watch a replay of his final thrilling race courtesy of the Bloodhorse and please click here to read one of the many articles on his retirement, courtesy of The Paulick Report. For additional behind-the-scenes photos by of his final race please click here! We will miss watching Bobby run but look forward to watching his offspring do so in the future!

Starlight's Feature:
Part 2 with Lori McCard of PTC:
Equine injuries are a part of racing but what happens to Starlight horses when they need a bit of time off to rehab? This month we continue our talk with Assistant Trainer Lori McCard of J.J. Pletcher's Payton Training Center in Ocala, Florida. In addition to starting yearlings on the path to becoming racehorses, she works hard to get injured horse back in top condition and, when they are ready, back to the track. Please click here
to read a little bit about the process.
