Only 2 more days before the 3rd Annual NYC Singles 8-Ball Championships begin!

Entry into any division with space available will be accepted on the day of the event, however please note the following:
  • Entry closes ONE HOUR prior to the scheduled start time.
  • Entry fee must be paid IN CASH only.   $10 LATE FEE applies.
  • Handicap MUST BE VERIFIABLE.
Want to compete in MORE than one event?
  • You may enter multiple events IF you are eliminated from the tournament PRIOR to the start of the 2nd event, AND there is space available in the 2nd division.  Entry fees paid on the day of the tournament must be IN CASH.  Late fee will NOT be charged for the 2nd event.

For Eligibility Requirements or Entrant Lists, click on the links for each Event. 
This is a double elimination tournament.  Race for the loss side bracket is shorter.
Spots Available as of 11/2/16. 
Green fee is included in the Entry Fee .  Add $5 if paying online.  Add'l $25 BCAPL dues required for non-members.   Add $10 late fee after 10/30.
Grand Masters Division players are not required to be BCAPL members to compete in this event.  
1st Prize Payout is based on a FULL FIELD.  Payout to top 25% of a FULL FIELD.  Prize money will be adjusted downward if the division has less than the maximum number of players allowed. 

Things to keep in mind:  
  • DRESS CODE is similar to BCA guidelines.  Click here for the DRESS CODE.
  • NO ELECTRONIC HEADGEAR permitted.  See DRESS CODE.
  • It is YOUR responsibility to know the RULES of play.  Click here for the RULES.  Some highlights:
    • CALL SHOT.  No slop.
    • Alternate break.  Rack your own.
    • 8-ball on the break is neither loss of game or win.  See RULES.
    • If the 8-ball is on the table, the game is still in progress.  If the 8-ball is not on the table (exception is on the break), game is over.
  • SHOT CLOCKS will be used if your match is holding up the chart.  Slow play will not be tolerated.  NYC Pool Championships also reserves the right to start any match on the clock from the 1st rack.  The decision is at the tournament director's discretion.
  • NON-BCAPL MEMBERS must pay the $25 membership fee in order to play.  If you have not paid for this already, click here to pay your BCAPL membership fee.  Select "BCAPL Fee" from the dropdown menu. Otherwise, be prepared to pay this IN CASH on the day of your event.
  • PRIZE MONEY is paid by check.  A completed tax form (Form W-9 or Form W-8BEN for foreigners) is required.  Forms will be provided to prize recipients on Sunday.
