We're having a party!

Join us at Keller Market House to celebrate our town and the launch of
Lohcal Apparel's 'Glass Town' drinking glass sets!

This limited edition set celebrates our community spirit and Lancaster's heritage as a glass town. The set features 5 different glasses - designed by  Lohcal Apparel , donated by Anchor Hocking, and in a box donated by Westrock. (Glasses can also be purchased separately.) They make a great keepsake or holiday gift, and all proceeds from the glasses go to support  Destination Downtown Lancaster 's efforts toward a vibrant community!

EAT  - Wood-fired pizza from  Fired Up Pizza

DRINK  - Local beer from Canal Winchester's  Loose Rail Brewing

BE MERRY!  - Live music with  The Coal Cave Hollow Boys

From the Directors Desk

Have you ever heard the phrase, "We're sucking diesel, now"? In Ireland, when things are going exceptionally well and you have found success, not by luck, but by your own merit, you can celebrate, and say it proudly. "I'm sucking diesel now!"
Everyone in Lancaster will soon be feeling a little more Irish, so brush up on your slang, and get ready to celebrate. O'Huids Gaelic Pub is ever so close to opening! They're sucking diesel for SURE! Stay tuned for details, folks. The wait is almost over!

Hello Friends!

Downtown is getting all gussied up for the Holidays! As you know the Downtown tree is up and is now decorated (thanks to St. Mary's Morning Preschool class!), the Nativity Scene is in place, the Downtown Fountain is strung with lights (thanks to our Parks Dept.), the mailbox for letters to Santa is in place (thanks to Mills Realty), and plans are in place to celebrate this Saturday at Winter Fest (thanks to DDL & all our Downtown businesses, volunteers and merchants!) ;)
There is such a sense of community Downtown that I get to work in and enjoy every day, that when there is activity and events Downtown it thrills me to be able to share it with all of you!! So I hope all of you will bring your families Downtown and join us for Winter Fest, and stay for the tree lighting at 5pm. We have some very special guests that have earned the honor of "pulling the switch" to light the tree! Don't miss it!!!

This weeks Wild Women had a quick lunch on Wednesday at Santino's. I do recommend the Taco Salad! We exchanged names for a Secret Sister Santa ornament exchange. Just a $5 limit. A little "sumpin-sumpin' just to share the holidays with each other. We will do a little WWW party later in December, maybe a potluck---but shhh I haven't mentioned that to the Wild Women yet!

Hope you're enjoying your holiday preparations! See you Saturday!
