State Department Grant for Schools
We are pleased to announce the opening of the
Teachers of Critical Languages Program (TCLP) grant application for 2018-2019.

TCLP brings fully-funded Egyptian, Moroccan or Chinese teachers to K-12 schools across the U.S. to teach Arabic or Chinese language and culture for an academic year. Increase your students' access to these critical languages by applying today to host a TCLP teacher at your school!

Since 2006, TCLP has sponsored 262 teachers that have worked in 173 schools in 38 states impacting over 79,000 students! TCLP teachers have completed approximately 14,200 outreach hours to promote host school critical language programs and bring global experiences to local communities.
Join these internationally-minded school communities to increase your students' global competencies. The application deadline for TCLP U.S. host schools is Monday, January 22, 2018 at 11:59pm EST.
TCLP is a program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State and is designed to increase the study and acquisition of important world languages in U.S. schools. Please share this funding opportunity widely with other educators and schools in your district.

We look forward to receiving your application and wish you a continued successful start to your school year!

With best regards,
