Attention Advisers

If you are willing to be on stand by for judging please email Kelly Jung at Kelly.jung@education.ohio.gov immediately. We are in need of stand by judges.

Registration

Registration: Will be sorted by career center not local school name

Advisers Only: Please pick up registration packets and do not send students or parents

Lanyards: Red is for all students and Black is for voting delegates only

Student Assistants: Will have a ribbon identifying them

Guests: Parents who would like to attend a session may pay at the door $20.00 each

CDE Results

CDE Google Doc:  Once all the CDE data is entered in a category the word "Complete" will be stated.  Data will not be entered until hard copies of the CDE Google Docs will be posted at Registration.

CDE Rubrics can be picked up at registration after the last session

Student Assistance: Schedule is posted on website

Seat Cards: Each student who will be recognized on stage will have an assigned seat in their designated area.  List is on the FCCLA website.

Scholarship Interview

Endowment Interview: A letter with the interview times has been sent.  All interviews will take place in the Ohio FFA Center Archive Room. 

Culinary Events

 Culinary Career Development Events

  • OSU Union will open doors at 7:00 A.M. on both days
  • If you order parking passes good for North and South garage - you must pick them up in the Tally Room
  • A pulping station will be available each day
  • Wednesday - All load in must be complete by 9:45 A.M. due to another event at OSU Union
  • Thursday- Load in will be continuous

Invitation to Pilot "Product Development" Competition and Reception:  Ohio FCCLA and the Ohio Corn & Wheat Growers Association have partnered and developed a new culinary competition for next year.  We are using winter red wheat that is grown in Ohio as the main focus.  Students needed to develop a product - this year a cookie - run two focus groups and include nutritional information a job book.  If you would like to see this event in action please join us on Wednesday, April 22 at 5:00 P.M. at Columbus Culinary Institute, 2435 Stelzer Rd. Columbus, Ohio 43219.  This is open to all culinary students and advisers.  Please feel free to join us.

 

Hospitality, Lodging and Culinary Instructors Needed!

Calling all Hospitality (Culinary and Lodging) instructors document attached.

National Leadership Conference

National Qualifier: National Qualifiers will be posted on the Ohio website by the end of the day Monday.

**PLEASE NOTE NEW PROCEDURE FOR THIS YEAR! Each Chapter is responsible for the following: 

Hotel Reservations:  Marriott Marquis - Ohio Block

Transportation:  No transportation will be organized

Registration:   Need to be done Through National Affiliation site

Ohio Package:  Along with nationals website you must register on the Ohio Register My Chapter. These will be two separate invoices. Plan accordingly.

 
Tours: None will be planned by Ohio.
