As most of you know I'm leaving in the fall to attend Southern Illinois University's PhD program in Philosophy.

I want to share with you that I'm so grateful to have been part of the revitalization of TIS USY. I'm proud of the progress we've made in terms of membership and it's been my pleasure to witness our USYers' dedication to the program steadily increase. I am certain that Katey Lindley, our new Director of Jewish Education and Youth Engagement, will see to it that we continue on the upward trajectory we've established.

I've had a number of congregants approach me and ask if there's anything I would like as a going-away present. While I appreciate the gesture, I would much prefer it if you'd be so kind as to make a donation to the USY Scholarship Fund in order to ensure that our USYers are able to attend future USY events, leadership retreats, and Kinnusim.

I've learned so much while working here and am honored to have had this opportunity. I will miss all of you very much and plan to stay in touch.
