Poll Shows only 42% of New Yorkers Plan to Support Kirsten Gillibrand |
| "Yesterday's Marist Poll proves that Kirsten Gillibrand is beatable and there's a reason why: Since being appointed to the senate by David Paterson, Ms. Gillibrand has veered dangerously to the political left. She now has the ignominious distinction of being ranked the "Most Liberal senator in America," based on her voting record. Nowhere is that more evident today than in her votes to force gas prices higher while New Yorkers struggle to get by. Many New Yorkers have buyers remorse when it comes to Ms. Gillibrand, and many more find themselves unsure of just exactly who she is as a legislator. That number will grow as this campaign continues.
