  Oshawa Wine Festival - Try and Buy

Time: 5 pm to 9 pm
 
A number of wineries will be participating, you can try their wines and order the wine directly from the winery! Featuring wines from other regions as well as from across Ontario. Some of the confirmed wineries include: Case Dea, Keint-he, Southbrook, Sprucewood, Del-Gatto and Arterra. You can try and buy and learn more about wine throughout the event!
 
There will also be a try and buy for various types of cheese. The Cheese Company from Ajax imports specialty cheeses and will be at the event with samples. There will also be a cheese education during the evening!

Small businesses registered with the WSIB are invited to self-nominate to win one of the three awards based on their leadership in the area of health and safety.

Individuals or organizations that support small business, such as a trade or professional association, may also nominate a company.

Nominations run from May 7 to June 30, 2017. The top three small businesses will walk the green carpet and be recognized at the WSIB Annual General Meeting in September in Toronto.

The Ontario Environment Industry Association’s (ONEIA’s) annual golf event brings together a mix of environmental businesspeople from a range of companies to support the Association. 


Prior to the afternoon of relaxing golf and networking, we offer an exciting morning program with speakers Karl Baldauf, Vice President, Policy and Government Relations at the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and Matthew Gordon, Manager US Trade Engagement at the Ministry of International Trade who will be speaking to the topic of environmental exporting in an age of tight borders and “buy America”.  We will conclude the day with a banquet dinner and awards presentation.
