The Hollow School... 1832
“Peggy” Lincoln Beckwith (1898-1975), the great-granddaughter of Abraham Lincoln flew her biplane from the meadow behind this one-room school house and parked her plane next to the school. The school rests on Hildene, the Lincoln Family Summer Home in Manchester, Vermont. Very few know this interesting story!
