CIV-TRIV
Civitas Trivia this Friday evening at the Drury
You don't have to be a news junkie or an expert in world affairs to have fun at Civitas' first ever Trivia Night for high-school students. It's this Friday, October 13, from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. We guarantee that everyone will know some of the answers, because they cover a huge range of topics, from music, movies and math to science and silly stuff.
We're putting together an evening that we hope will challenge you to dig trivial facts out of the corners of your brain, and have fun figuring out the answers with friends. We'll supply the quizzes, the games, the
free pizza and sodas, and the prizes. You supply the people and the brainpower.
It's free! You can come alone, with a friend or two, or even put together a team of four to play together. Don't miss it!
You can sign up individually, or put together a team of four friends.

St. Louis Homicide Detective Mark Biondolino to speak at Civitas this Saturday
What is life like for a homicide detective in a major American city? In particular, what is it like in St. Louis now with discord between police and some of our citizens?
Detective Mark Biondolino has served in the Homicide Division of the St. Louis Police Department for seven years. Prior to that he worked in the narcotics division, and prior to that, he was a policeman on the beat.
He has a very calming presence and has excellent stories to tell as well as ideas on improving life in our community. He'll also answer any questions you might have about life on the police force in St. Louis.
Detective Biondolino is our speaker this Saturday, October 14, at Civitas (
map) from 9:00 - 11:00 AM. You can sign up by
