  Meet Maggie Colley
Sterling Jr. Teen Miss USA
Not only does Maggie rock a crown but she is also very active in sports, playing volleyball, basketball and softball, and has been dancing for the past ten years. We asked Maggie to share her thoughts about Sterling Miss with  you:
Maggie, what was your favorite part of Pageant Weekend?  It was really great meeting all the new girls. I made so many new friends. Even though some of us were competing against each other, we were still happy for all the girls and cheered each other on.

What advice would you give the contestants who are competing this year?  Just be the best YOU, you can be, and be confident in that.  And don't forget to have FUN!

What is one thing you would remind contestants to bring on pageant weekend?  Bring a blanket if you are getting your hair and makeup done. It can get cold in that room!

What do you love about Sterling Miss?    Sterling Miss has given me an amazing sisterhood!  We truly love each other and want nothing but the best for each other.

Your Pageant Interview: Tips for Success!
Interviews will be held on Sunday morning and will come from your interview form that you will find in Sterling Miss Packet 4 that was emailed to you, along with four other information packets pertaining to pageant weekend.
Petite Miss will have Round Robin interviews - 30 seconds with each of our five judges.  Our Little Miss and up will have panel interviews with the same judges.  Rest assured that our judges are certified Miss America system judges, they have a heart for pageantry and WANT to see your daughters succeed. There will be no "GOTCHA" mentality at this pageant. Questions will come from the resume that you submit...so, know your resume.
Attire: a nice dress - not a cocktail dress
Do not go in full stage makeup for interview.       Keep a  fresh look for your up close visit with       the judges.

Pageant Packing - The Complete List...well,  maybe!
It never fails. If you are like me,  you arrive at the pageant, so proud that you have all made it there in one piece, only to realize that you forgot something! While there is always a Wal-Mart near by, time may be a factor in getting the items you need. The hotel may have the most forgotten items like tooth brushes, but eyelashes are a whole different ballgame! :)  Our Sterling Miss Boutique may have a few of those items that you might forget but our supply is limited. S, here is a great list. For the younger girls, some of these items may not apply to you now...but they will later, as you age up in competition.  Click on this link to learn more and start packing, cuz after all, you only have six weeks and that time is going to fly by!  https://thepageantfile.com/2015/05/26/the-ultimate-pageant-packing-list/
IMPORTANT!!!!!!  Please bring a ROLLING CLOTHES RACK for your clothes. You can find inexpensive ones at Wal-Mart, Target, Amazon, etc., and they are so convenient to wheel in on pageant day with all your stuff on board. If you are traveling with another contestant, you could even share one.
I have seen the ads and they look AMAZING.  I think you all  will be very pleased!
ADS ARE DUE BY THE END OF THIS MONTH!
Each contestant will have a minimum of one ad for our souvenir program.   All ads are full page ads and are $65 each.  You will need to send Pageant Media the fee for this mandatory one ad, along with the photo and wording you want to use for it.   Please DO NOT send me the ads.

Please send your info to: Nick@calldmg.com which is also the Paypal address.

The deadline for ads is  Tuesday, February 28th.
