From all of us at Steward Partners, we hope you had a pleasant, relaxing and enjoyable summer. These last few months have certainly been busy for the firm and August was no exception. At the beginning of the month, Steward announced that Charlie Johnston, ex-CEO of Smith Barney, joined the firm's board of directors. Inc. Magazine ranked Steward Partners 544th in this year's list of the nation's 5000 fastest-growing private companies. In addition, the firm is excited to welcome its newest partners, who have joined Steward in northern New Jersey.
 
As we look ahead to Q4 and 2019, the firm is excited to continue the growth and momentum we've generated over the first half of this year, and we're looking forward to sharing many more exciting news in the coming months.

Companies on the 2018 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2014 to 2017. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2014.They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent--not subsidiaries or divisions of their companies--as of December 31, 2017. (Since then, some on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2014 is $100,000; the minimum for 2017 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Note: Growth rates used to determine company rankings were calculated to two decimal places.
