Please Visit Our Website Again ...
,

Hello! I'm resending Wednesday's newsletter, with apologies if you tried to download the free pattern and found the website down. It's up and running now, so please try again. At least the glitch has given me another chance to wish you all the best at the holidays and in the New Year!

My Gift for You-A Free Pattern!

One of the things I am thankful for is you! To thank you for your continuing support, I'm making this month's featured product a free pattern. It's a five-inch fabric poinsettia.

Poinsettia pins are so on trend this season! I've seen them on shoulders, scarves, handbags, hair, even as boutonnieres! You can also use as an ornament or present topper. Let your imagination run wild!

Join Our Final Tea & Stitches!

Still a few spaces left for Spring Tea & Stitches, our special stitching weekend at the luxurious Hoyt House B&B in beautiful Amelia Island, April 12-15, 2018. We'll stitch a tea cozy together, enjoy the amenities, and  feel totally pampered!

We're working hard to make this weekend extra-special, as it will be the final Tea & Stitches retreat. The registration deadline is fast approaching - January 1, 2018.

The Tea & Stitches weekend getaway could be a lovely Christmas gift.  Hope to see you there!

Don't Miss Woodland Whimsy

I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed teaching Woodland Whimsy this year. Our class has truly bonded while stitching the charming blocks -- sharing stitching tips, inspiring charitable projects, more.

I've been asked to teach the class again next year. I'll be teaching at  Cinnamon's in Jacksonville, but out-of-towners can participate by mail and social media.

The class begins in February 2018. Call Jamie at ( 904) 374-0532 to get on the list!

For Your Quilting Library

This month's book is a recommendation from my Mom. I love that she is still teaching me new things! It's Fast Patch, by Anita Hallock, published in 1989. I found a copy on Amazon, and I've been reading and trying its techniques since it arrived. Anita authored and co-authored several books on quick piecing techniques. Fast Patch shows you how to use strip piecing techniques to produce rows of accurate triangles. "Make two cuts and sew two seams. Then you can cut strips of triangles and enter the world of Fast Patch." I think you'll like having this one as part of your quilting library!
Stitching Companions

Here is Tigger under one of our trees, looking disappointed there is no present for him yet. Why do I have the feeling he's been naughty?

In Closing

Since we'll still be ringing in the New Year on January 2, next month's newsletter will be coming to you on January 9, the second Tuesday of the month.

I am looking forward to the New Year, and our final Tea & Stitches in April. I have loved our retreats, and the dear friends I have made there. It is bittersweet to bid farewell, but my heart tells me it's time. I have already begun to explore new stitching adventures, and look forward to sharing them with you next year!

I am so grateful for your enthusiasm and support. I hope that your heart and home are filled with peace, joy and Christmas spirit. As always, stay stitching!
