January News

Hello! Hope you weathered the recent winter storms in a nice, warm setting.  What a brisk and energizing start to the New Year! We have so much planned for the the next few months!

I hope you'll join us. Our classes are wonderful settings to connect with fellow stitchers, share ideas, and be inspired. I truly love teaching them, and am always uplifted by everyone's enthusiasm for stitching.  Here's what's on the calendar ...

Newcomers are most welcome to this ongoing club,  inspired by J ane  Stickle's beautiful 1863 quilt. Each quarter, we stitch a variety of the quilt's 169 five-inch blocks. In just one quarter, you'll have enough blocks for a small quilt or wall hanging, and enjoy meeting other "Dear Jane" lovers.

Spring Tea & Stitches

We are working hard to make our final Tea & Stitches retreat extra-special! The retreat takes place April 12-15 at beautiful Hoyt House in Amellia Island. We'll be stitching a tea cozy, but I'll also be introducing my newest quilt, a tea-themed quilt and complementary pieces stitched by my mom and sister. Watch the newsletter and social media for sneak peeks!

Stitching Companions

This month, I share some sad news about our beloved Tigger. Two weeks before Christmas, Tigger took ill very suddenly, and was gone before we knew it. I still can't believe it. The presentation below helped us to say our goodby.  He will always have a place in our hearts.

In Closing

Wishing you and yours the best in the New Year. Til next month, stay stitching!
