Radical Masculinity: Cock Confidence, Embodiment, & Queerness with
Sinclair Sexsmith of "SugarbutchChronicles"
Friday June 29th
7:30-9pm
march 8 intlwomday
Join us for a two day Stonewall weekend extravaganza celebrating queer sexuality and embodiment with butch blogger and sex writer Sinclair "Sugarbutch" Sexsmith.
On Friday night Sinclair will take us on a wild ride towards body confidence for folks on the self-identified queer masculine side of the gender spectrum (butches, bois, transmen, studs, FTMs, Masculine of Center, genderqueer, gender non-conforming, allies, or anybody in between!). We'll be focused on the question of how we stay embodied in a world that sees our bodies in conflict with who we are, how we stay centered in ourselves when our allies and communities are ever changing and our identities are politicized or fetishized or demonized, what it's like to be a ethical "bad boy", and more.

Sinclair will return on Saturday night for a raucous reading from
Say Please: Lesbian BDSM Erotica. This event is sponsored by Charis Books and Atlanta Pride. There is $5 suggested donation each evening but no one will be turned away.

KCCA Story Hour Celebrates Queer Families Stonewall Weekend--Sunday, July 1st, 1-2:30pm
In honor of Stonewall Weekend, Charis and KCCA present a spirited reading in celebration of all kinds of queer families. Volunteers will read the following books: A Tale of Two Daddies, Who's in a Family?, and In Our Mothers' House.  Kelli's Childcare Collective of Atlanta (KCCA) is a collective of volunteers who provide liberation-based childcare, in which caretakers are queer-friendly, attentive, passionate, and progressive. Parents and kids join us as we read from a few of Charis' collection of children's books. Everyone
is welcome. As a very special treat we will have a glitter artist coming to do face painting for the kids (or adults too)!
This is a Charis Circle Strong Families, Whole Children Program and is co-sponsored by Atlanta Pride this month. Contact KCCA at http://kccatl.com/
