Hollygrove Market & Farm
The End of One Time Home Deliveries

After more than a year and a quarter of doing one time home deliveries of our local produce box, Hollygrove Market & Farm has decided to discontinue this service. This was a hard decision to make for the market, but ultimately our small staff of three and limited transportation (a single van!) could not handle the demands required to carryout this service in a consistently high quality manner. All outstanding one-time deliveries will be delivered for this Tuesday, but no new orders can be placed starting today.

We will continue to offer our home delivery subscription services (1, 3, and 6 months) and will add another pickup site, the Rosa F. Keller Library and Community Center in Broadmoor, on Tuesdays starting in June. We would like to thank all the customers who have supported the delivery service during the past year plus and hope at some point in the future that we can resume the service.

The Box Meal Plan: May 22nd

 Blueberry Cornbread

-Blueberry season is now upon us and with it, full pints of blueberry in the box. Blueberry, corn, & honey are a wonderful trio, so it only makes sense to whip em up into a delicious baked good.

Cucumber, Tomato and Feta Salad

-Simple, seasonal, and tasty, this recipe would make a great pairing with lamb burgers from our free-range ground lamb from Two Run Farms.

 Strawberry Vinaigrette

-Store bought dressing pales in comparison to what you can make at home and it costs a fraction of the price. To make this recipe even better, add a healthy dose of quality fresh cracked pepper to the dressing. Strawberries & black pepper are a surprisingly wonderful combo.

 Cucumber Water

-To call this a recipe would be a bit of a stretch, but it doesn't change the fact that it is quite possibly the most refreshing drink ever. The recipe says 2-3 slices, but feel free to use much more if you like the cucumber flavor. With a half a cucumber, you can refill 4-5 times before the flavor starts to dissipate.

New Sunday Hours Starting in June

Starting Sunday, June 3rd, we will be open from 10am-2pm every Sunday. We've grown (a lot) in the last 9 months and our Saturday Market is almost bursting at the seams thanks to all the support of our great customers, so we felt its due  time to expand our hours and give you some more flexibility in making it out to the market. We want your thoughts on this, so send us a quick email to tell us what you think.
