Sunshine likely, but just in case....
what's a few raindrops?
Streets Alive!, our FREE outdoor movement festival will be here this Sunday, September 25, from 1 - 5 PM. With over 130 exhibitors, entertainers, and food vendors, Streets Alive! is going to make a splash!
Speaking of splashes, bring your umbrella and rubber duckies just in case. We might get light rain in the morning, but we're expecting sun in the afternoon. If there's a few puddles leftover, put on the rain boots and splash away. The kids and dogs will love it.
Seriously, if a storm or lightening comes on after the event begins, we have designated dry spots to wait out Mother Nature. They are:
City Impact, 1035 North 33rd (just north of Peter Pan Park) Peter Pan Park Picnic Shelter, 33rd & W Sts. (adjacent to City Impact) Clinton Elementary School, 1520 No. 29th Sts. (29th & Holdrege) Christ United Methodist Church, 1333 No. 33rd St. (formerly Faith United Methodist) Businesses along the south side of Holdrege (between Idylwild Drive and North 33rd St. on East Campus) Many of the buildings on East Campus (north side of Holdrege between 33rd and 48th Sts.)
The weather forecast says it will be a lovely fall day in the afternoon, but in the unlikely event of ongoing storms and lightning, the event will be discontinued.
