Here are 3 tips to strengthen mental health:

  1. When you become stressed or challenged ask the time distancing question.....will this really matter in a week, month or a year? Often called putting things into perspective.
  2. Realize that thoughts and feelings are NOT facts. Seek facts and sometimes it will help put things into perspective.
  3. Ask these 2 Rational Living Therapy Questions:
  • Does this thought, attitude or behavior help me to accomplish my goal?
  • Does this thought, attitude or behavior make me feel the way that I want to feel?
  • If NO, maybe some self-administered perspective coaching is warranted?
