We recently had a thread called Stretching reopened.  The crazy thing is that it was started 6 years ago 2011!

This subject is definitely one that we keep learning about and coaches will always have different opinions on.

We always do it in the beginning of the workout and follow with dynamic warm/ mobility/ activation.

We also started using a Flow Warm-up. It combines some concepts we took from Max Shank ( a series of stretch that flow smoothly from one to the next) and added some of the rest postures that Anna Hartmann spoke about a few years ago. You can check out the video here.

Elsbeth Vaino said "Everyone is different, and some people will benefit from stretching after versus before. Or at least that has been what I have seen. I would say 90% of my clients do not stretch after, but for the 10% that do, it's important that they do."

Tim Vagen said "We are finding that an easy dynamic cool down followed by basic static stretching has reduced post game soreness in the athletes here at school."

Tim Caron has his clients "do it daily at the end of each session."
