UNIPOWER was formed in 1988 as a spinoff of the Pompano-based Computer Products Company by Joe Merino, then an executive of Computer Products, with forty other former Computer Products employees. The company's initial goals were to establish a business headquartered in Florida that would develop, manufacture and distribute high-quality switching power supplies for commercial and industrial markets.
25 years later UNIPOWER has grown its business and product selection substantially. Today UNIPOWER is a trusted partner to many world-class companies for its OEM power products and has launched a new initiative focusing on providing full DC and AC Power Systems for networking applications. With an international sales network and manufacturing and technical facilities in the United States, United Kingdom and Asia, UNIPOWER has truly become an international presence.
