The weather was perfect during the 3 day show at the Mystic Seaport Museum and we couldn't pass up an opportunity to get out on the water.

Stuart Knockabout Regatta
July 19th - 20th, 2014
The 2014 Stuart Knockabout Regatta was held this past July on Buzzards Bay.
The fleet of 8 battled light and variable conditions, a great contrast compared to the heavy winds and excitement of last year's competition. The relative lack of wind during the morning races built to a comfortable 8 - 10 knots in the afternoon.

After 5 races, a single point separated the top 2 finishers with POLAR EXPRESS coming out on top. GRA MO CHROI and RASCAL took 2nd and 3rd places.

THANK YOU to this year's sponsors!

Buzzards Bay Fleet
Summer Season Wrap-Up
Article by Ken Legg
The Buzzards Bay fleet wrapped up racing this past Saturday with 7 boats hitting the line. Phil Field and MISCHIEF won both the July and the overall Summer Series and Chris White on  RASCAL won the month of August.

Ken Legg and HARPOON won the 17th Annual Bassakwards Race with SK's taking 4 of top 5 finishes.

MISCHIEF went on to win the Old Sigh Race Series Race for the Rock. Again, Stuarts were 4 of the top 5 finishers. Stuarts were also active with Wednesday night races hosted by the Old Sigh series.

Overall, Stuarts Knockabouts competed in a total of 22 races this Summer. As the Buzzards fleet continues to grow, the number of boats now frequently reaches 6 on the line. Along with the number of boats sailing, the level of competition has also risen with changes in the leaderboard with nearly every finish.
