Educational Resources Needed for Children in Haiti
Children in Léogâne, Haiti are in need of educational resources.  The items needed are the following: children's story books in English or French (French preferable), coloring books and other children's workbooks, colored pencils, crayons, stickers, cloth hangers, shampoo and hair products, small portable musical instruments, and any other items that you think children would like!

Items will go to Serving Friends, an NGO that educates young children (elementary and middle schools) and supports community development through job training and agricultural education.

You can drop off items you'd like to donate in the CRSSJ any time from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., this week through Friday. Additionally, feel free to contact SoYeong Jeong at [ jeongsoy] for questions, suggestions, and comments.
Why Brand Matters
Watch for copies of "Our Grinnellian Story" later this week. The Office of Communications is making arrangements to distribute this publication to students outside of the campus post office. The goal of this booklet is to provide a common language as we work together to tell the story of this special place. The story of individually advised learning for the intellectually engaged. Our strong academic program, a globally informed community, and our commitment to purposeful life preparation combine to express the College's unique value proposition. We hope you find this publication useful and inspiring. Send us your feedback at   communications@grinnell.edu .
