T / JAN 19 - Game and Movie Day 
Up for a challenge? Enjoy watching movies and eating popcorn? If you've answered yes to these questions then Student Life's Game and Movie Day is for YOU! Please join us in the Student Life Center to play against other gamers for prizes and to watch movies. We have chess boards, monopoly, battleship, connect four, checkers, and will be playing Super Smash Brothers. Popcorn on us! If you have any questions, please contact Trevell Pitmann.

GTC's Career Services and WIOA Center is hosting an open house from 1 - 3 p.m.at the Lawrenceville campus. Time to gear up for the SkillsUSA Quiz Bowl challenge! Practice will be held in the Student Life Center at 4 p.m. at the Lawrenceville campus. Students who wish to represent the college at the state level should attend all practices and complete the required forms before the February 4th practice date. Do you Need Health Insurance?
The  Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)  office at GTC is a partner with Kaiser Permanente (KP) for their Bridge insurance program. KP is offering a low cost health insurance to eligible students. WIOA will host Open Enrollment sessions this fall semester for 2016 benefits. Watch your student email & MyGTC for more information on our next event on December 4.
Collecting Corks
The Rad Tech program has collected over 12,000 corks, caps and foil from wine bottles for Clothes for Souls. Each is worth 2 cents so we can financially support this global non-profit institution dedicated to fighting poverty. Besides helping the charity, it also helps the earth. The corks are recycled and not put in landfills. Did you know that it takes over 1,500 gallons of water to grow the cotton required for just one pair of jeans and each American discards over 65 pounds of clothing per year? Help us by continuing to donate your corks! Drop off is in bldg. 200, room 245. 
Collecting Aluminum Can Tabs
The Future Cardiovascular Technologist Club and the Association for Radiologic Technologist are collecting can tabs. One gallon of tabs equals a one night stay in the Ronald McDonald House for a family. Together, we've already collected eight gallons, but we can do more! Help us by bringing your aluminum can tab donations to room 121, 245 or 133 in bldg. 200. Thank you!
ADN-RN Program Host Fundraiser
The Senior ADN-RN Program students are hosting a fundraiser! Funds  received will be used to fund the Nursing Pinning Ceremony. To participate, you can purchase a ticket to win 1 of 3 prize baskets worth over $500 in prizes or a 24' TV. Prizes include everything from entertainment (Dave and Busters, Stars and Strikes, movie tickets, Aurora Theatre, etc.), restaurants, massages, oil changes, golf, shopping, manicure/pedicure, and more.
