Announcements
Help Improve Online Classes - Take the Survey!
Have you taken an online class at GTC before or are taking one this semester? If so, staff and faculty of the QEP Team would like to hear from you! Gwinnett Tech has selected Distance Education and online classes as an area to improve for students as part of the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), a multi-year project which is part of the college's process for reaccreditation.

Click here to complete a brief anonymous survey about your experiences with online classes at GTC.  Also, stay tuned to your student email and campus announcements about ways that students can get involved with the QEP and prize/giveaway opportunities coming soon!
Global Pencil Project
Lambda Nu Imaging Sciences Honor Society will be collecting new-unsharpened pencils thru December for the Global Pencil Project.  Boxes will be available in student areas in building 100 and 200 - just look for the signs!
Toastmasters Taking Toiletry Donations
We encourage all members and guests to please help support our Community Service Project with the Partners Against Domestic Violence (PADV). Please bring new toiletry and personal care items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, soaps, lotions, shampoo, conditioners, deodorant and hair care products to Trevell Pittman in the Student Center or to Dr. Penny Waddell in Building 200 Room 115.  We will be delivering these items to the shelter on November 21st.  (Due to Fall Break, we will not have a club meeting until November 5th.)
Collecting Corks
The Rad Tech program has collected over 12,000 corks, caps and foil from wine bottles for Clothes for Souls. Each is worth 2 cents so we can financially support this global non-profit institution dedicated to fighting poverty. Besides helping the charity, it also helps the earth. The corks are recycled and not put in landfills. Did you know that it takes over 1,500 gallons of water to grow the cotton required for just one pair of jeans and each American discards over 65 pounds of clothing per year? Help us by continuing to donate your corks! Drop off is in bldg. 200, room 245.
Collecting Aluminum Can Tabs
The Future Cardiovascular Technologist Club and the Association for Radiologic Technologist are collecting can tabs. One gallon of tabs equals a one night stay in the Ronald McDonald House for a family. Together, we've already collected eight gallons, but we can do more! Help us by bringing your aluminum can tab donations to room 121, 245 or 133 in bldg. 200. Thank you!
Feel Stressed? You are not Alone!
Going to school can be tough. Life can be tough. Student Life has paid for all of our students to get four free counseling sessions through the Cameron & Associates Life Balance Program.
