Welcome back Students!! 


This is the official first week of Spring semester at Saint Martin's University! As Spring is underway we have lots of reminders and tips for our students and families. 


Please remember tuition for Spring semester is due on the first day of classes.  Students are required to submit a validation form to confirm their payment arrangements for Spring term. The  validation form needs to be returned to the Student Financial Services Office.   


Have you filed your 2013-14 FAFSA?


The FAFSA application for the Fall 2013-14 school year is now available!  Students are encouraged to submit their FAFSA application by our priority deadline of March 1, 2013.  
It is important to file your FAFSA early in order to be considered for types of aid that are limited in funds and may not be available to students who file later.  

Visa Payments Now Accepted

We are happy to announce we are able to accept Visa payments through students' Self Service accounts.  We will continue to accept MasterCard, Discover, and American Express payments through Self Service.  

Please remember that there is a 2.5% fee for all credit card transactions through Self Service.  We recommend students use the E-Check option through Self Service to avoid the fees.  
Health Insurance Waiver Due February 4th


All SMU students must carry health
insurance coverage. If you completed an insurance waiver for Fall semester you will not need to submit a new waiver for spring semester.  


If your student had the SMU health insurance for Fall semester and now has outside insurance coverage, they may waive out of the health insurance fee for Spring semester. Health Insurance waivers are due by February 4, 2013.   


After your waiver has been successfully submitted, the $991.00 charge will be reversed on your student's account.

Scholarship Opportunity for Students,  Applications Due February 1st!

Saint Martin's Alumni Association-an independent, non-profit organization-offers scholarships to full-time, continuing students. Scholarships are awarded for the academic year following the year of application and are contingent on the applicant remaining fulltime.


The application is distributed to all students in an email each spring. Decisions are made by committee and awards are presented at convocation. Award amounts differ from student to student. These are one-year scholarships and may be applied for each year.


This award does not preclude a student from applying for any other awards.  Alumni Scholarship Application must be submitted by February 1, 2013.   


FAFSA Raffle Give-Away!!    

If your student files their FAFSA application prior to our March 1st priority deadline, they can enter to win a $50 Gift Certificate to our SMU Book Store! 

We will choose three winners on March 4th and will notify the winners via their SMU email address.

  • Spring Tuition Payment Due: January 15th on R
  • Last day for a 100% Tuition Refund is January 25th (Lacey Campus Students Only) 
  • Spring Financial Aid will begin to disburse February 1st 
  • 2013-2014 FAFSA Application is available online after January 1st
    • FAFSA Priority deadline for Fall 2013 is March 1st
