All interested high school age singers from the community are welcome to participate in Voices of Omaha's 47th annual presentation of Handel's
Messiah
with soloists and orchestra at the Holland Performing Arts Center on November 22, 2015. No audition is required!
37 young vocalists participated in 2014. "Singing Messiah in a chorus of 195 with orchestra and professional soloists was amazing," said Eliajah Bennett, junior at Abraham Lincoln High School. "And there is no place like the Holland Center for music like this," he added.
"We rarely have a chance to perform with large ensembles because we are schooled at home," said Hannah Good, age 17. "It was a kick to have my little brother singing in the group, too."
