Bring friends and make merry at Lux@Night! Listen to live music by singer/songwriter Kenny Eng (accompanied by Rob Deez), sample tasty, authentic fare from the East African Cuisine foodtruck on site, sip on beer or wine, and make the most of a rare opportunity to meet renowned painter and resident artist Alan Feltus. View his exhibit of enigmatic works and see what he's creating during his stay at Lux.
Also happening: the Lux Trunk Show, where you can beat the crowds and get some early holiday shopping squared away! Score first dibs on handcrafted, one-of-a-kind jewelry and clothing by:
Housgoods Tammy Spencer Bearhead Factory Keenan Hartsen
Meet these talented San Diego designers and enjoy discounts and special pricing on select items for this event only! (Goods in the Lux store will also be available for purchase.)
And last but not least... If you missed the October 25 opening of Wes Bruce's project at Lux, Structures Poetry Humans, here's your chance to experience it! Wear sturdy flats or sneakers and bring a flashlight. Please be aware that due to the uneven nature of the path leading to Wes' building at the top of the Lux hill, access to the installation is at the viewer's discretion.
It'll be a fun and festive evening, and we look forward to seeing you here at Lux!
Sponsored by the County of San Diego at the recommendation of Supervisor Pam Slater-Price. College Night at Lux@Night is supported by a grant from the James Irvine Foundation.
Note: In light of the many events and celebrations that occur during the holidays, there will be no Lux@Night in December.
