Success & Progress - Thank You!
With your generous support year after year, we are able to continue positively impacting our children and their communities. In this newsletter, we are excited to present to you our 2015 Annual Report showing our success in improving the social, emotional,  physical and  educational well-being of our children. Thank you for your commitment to investing in our children!

Progress has also been made in government policies  that effect our children and their future. If you haven't heard, Governor Nixon has eliminated the prohibition on quality ratings for early care and education.  Missouri is no longer the only state in the nation that has a statutory prohibition on quality ratings!  We are excited about this positive change because we know that quality matters and that all children deserve to have access to quality care regardless of their income. We are
one  step closer to better care and  education for our children.  Click here to learn more about this important step.

Finally, your role in helping us continue our mission never goes unnoticed. We truly appreciate all of your time, energy, and financial support.  Thank you for choosing United 4 Children as your resource to make positive change in your community!

Sincerely,

Dawn Winkler
Executive Director

Tommy
"Tommy" enrolled in United 4 Children's 24:1 Early Childhood Learning Center in January 2016. When he first started school, Tommy showed signs of challenging behavior that would likely prevent him from developing appropriately.

New Annual Sponsorship Opportunities
Our fundraising events are crucial to the continuation of
the important work that we do year after year.  Without the generosity of you, our sponsors and attendees of our fundraising events, we surely would not be able to impact the children that we serve as effectively.

Thank you current and future sponsors of our events for choosing United 4 Children as your resource to impact your community!

Did You Know?
Source: Barth et al. (2008)
The more risk factors, like poverty, a child faces the more likely they will experience a developmental delay. Many of these delays show up in a child's emotional development. A child who does not develop on target emotionally is more likely to be expelled from school and is 73% more likely to be incarcerated.  Find out what what we are doing about these sobering statistics and how.
Annual Golf Tournament Recap
On July 14, 2016, United 4 Children's 4th Annual Golf Tournament was another "hole-in-one" smashing success.  Together with the generous support of Slay Industries, Express Scripts, First Bank, Anders CPA & Advisors, Charah, 40 hole sponsors, 27 teams, the committee, staff, and volunteers, over $35,000 was raised (nearly $8,000 over our goal). Thank you for helping us make this year the most successful yet!
