Our People Take Pride in their Work

This month however, we honor our early risers, who work in all types of weather conditions, sometimes overnight or in double shifts to get our HVAC and plumbing systems constructed, installed, replaced or serviced. Our People Drive Innovation

Shapiro & Duncan Fab Shop employees assembled 2 of the 20 Air Cooled Chiller fabricated piping assemblies in a controlled environment waist high with large overhead cranes to help with all heavy lifting. These chilled water piping assemblies are 40' long and took less than an hour to assemble in our Fab Shop. After extensive coordination with our shipping/logistics department and Shapiro & Duncan onsite Foreman, these assemblies were lifted by a crane onto the roof of a very fast paced data center project.

Our People Serve the Community
Hosting the American University Construction Law class, teaching sustainability in project management at the University of Maryland, and raising $11,857 with the help of our vendors for Junior Achievement financial literacy programs, are all activities that have kept us busy in our community over the last few months.
