Max's Healthy Tip of the Week:

Did you know that populations that eat a lot of coconut are among the healthiest people on the planet? They know that coconut oil can improve blood cholesterol levels and may lower your risk of heart disease
 or boost brain function.

Try using some to remove make-up
or to awaken dull hair.

Your body will love coconut oil!

FOOD FOR THOUGHT:
IS YOUR BRAIN MISSING SOMETHING?
Our brains need certain nutrients to keep us happy, focused and functioning at our best. But moderation is key, and gobbling more of a particular nutrient helps only if you're making up for a deficiency, said neuroscience professor Gary Wenk, author of "Your Brain on Food: How Chemicals Control Your Thoughts and Feelings."      READ MORE HERE

PAIN IN YOUR UPPER BACK?  SHOULDERS?  LOWER BACK?   Have you tried a TENS unit?
TENS stands for transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation.  Many people are finding relief from certain types of pain using these small devices.  Instead of using painkilling medications, try using one of these alternative types of treatment.  And there are no side effects using a TENS unit as there are when taking medicine for pain.

And in some cases, the use of these devices could help to cut down on the use of excessive pain medication.  I personally have found amazing results using one of these units.

Go see Tal at Topanga Plaza on the lower level at his kiosk across from Victoria's Secret and try one of these pain relieving units.   You will be amazed how efficiently they will help to relieve some types of discomfort
