Max's Healthy Tip of the Week:

A spoonful of sugar may make the medicine go down,

but it also "changes your metabolism, raises blood pressure, critically alters the signaling of hormones

and causes significant damage to the liver,"

according to three doctors at the

University of California at San Francisco.

In a recent issue of Nature, they argued that the

health hazards of sugar are similar to those

related to drinking too much alcohol.

So let's not be so sweet on sugar!

MARC WEISS TALKS ABOUT FINANCES
EXPERT FINANCIAL ADVICE FROM MARC WEISS
This month's newsletter is a special edition dedicated to a special planning tool. As we age, our planning needs naturally change and we have to anticipate roadblocks that many ignore until it's too late.

When the subject of failing health arises, our natural (and typical) reaction is to deflect this dose of reality and convince ourselves "That won't happen to me, it will happen to the other guy, but not to me." This is especially true for those who currently have a strong bill of health - it's hard to imagine a drastic change in your health when you feel fine and are in good shape today.

Call Marc for answers and solutions to your financial questions.
